LUBBOCK MUSTANG CLUB
Who doesn't like Mustangs?
"The Lubbock Mustang Club is a social organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Mustang automobile and the fun and fellowship that goes hand and hand with these great cars."  

This was the founding principle of the club when it began in 1981, making it the oldest car club in Lubbock.  We are a non-profit organization.  We meet the first Thursday of every month (except December) at 7:00 pm at the Red Zone Cafe, Slide Rd. and 37th. We also join our fellow clubs in the area, meeting around 6:30 pm every Thursday at the Sonic on 62nd and Frankford during Spring, Summer and Fall.  Membership dues are $25.00 per year, except for active duty military, who pay no dues.  Our main events are our Mustang Birthday Party every April and our Mustang Roundup and Car Show every August at the Wayland Baptist University Lubbock Campus.  LMC contributes to our community by hosting various benefits, providing an annual scholarship at Wayland, and volunteering every year at the Blue Ribbon Rally in April.  Our membership is as diverse as West Texas and you do not have to own a Mustang to be a member.  In fact, some of our members participate with other vehicles, both old and new.
